Religion- How It Doesn't Save

Colossians 3:11
Here there is not Greek and Jew, circumcised and uncircumcised, barbarian, Scythian, slave, free; but Christ is all, and in all.

Religion is completely man made. People focus on following their religion- Instead of following God's ways.

1 John 2:1-29
My little children, I am writing these things to you so that you may not sin. But if anyone does sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous. He is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the sins of the whole world. And by this we know that we have come to know him, if we keep his commandments. Whoever says “I know him” but does not keep his commandments is a liar, and the truth is not in him, but whoever keeps his word, in him truly the love of God is perfected. By this we may know that we are in him: ...

Religion doesn't show your love for the Lord. It doesn't save you, or guarantee anything. It's a way to censor the Lord. It's a way to hide the truth... Jesus. Jesus is the only way to Heaven. If you already know that- Why are you Christian? Catholic? Jewish? Atheist?
Jesus is the only way. NOT religion.

1 Peter 2:24-
He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we might die to sin and live to righteousness. By his wounds you have been healed.

It's not a religion- It's a relationship with Jesus Christ, and him only...

The True Love Of Our Lord

1 Peter 2:24-
"and He Himself bore our sins in His body on the cross, that we might die to sin and live to righteousness; for by His wounds you were healed."

I guarantee you- After today you will live by Christ. All I'm asking you to do today is watch this video with the sound on. It changed my life with Jesus Christ forever. And remember- He did this for you...

Passion of The Christ scenes- Not for the young- But worth watching...

Devotions-
Let him in. Let him in your heart after all he's done for you...

You're Saved

Romans 6:23-
For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

With every thorn. With every nail. With every lash- Jesus saw your face. And he knew you would be special. He knew you would do better things than he would. Before he even met you- He knew you. And he saved you.

Jesus went up on that cross and died for you. He saved you from your own sins that you commit everyday. Sins that you may not even realize you're doing. Jesus wants you in Heaven. Jesus wants to be with you, and in your heart at all times. Jesus is the only protection from sin.

So how do you live without him?!
How do you go everyday sinning, and never having Jesus?!

The Lord Jesus said:
For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that
the world through him might be saved.
He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already
, because he
hath
not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

And there you have it. Jesus saved not only you. Not only your family- He saved the world. He saved the world from a burning hell, so we could all have a chance in Heaven.

How do we get Jesus in our hearts, and accept him as our personal Lord and Savior?
Now it's time to save yourself. You already have a chance at Heaven- Don't let it go.
If you need to be born again, Please let me know and I'd be willing to help.

But remember this-
Jesus said "So everyone who acknowledges me before men, I also will acknowledge before my Father who is in heaven..."

And only then will he be in your heart...

Devotions-
Save yourself. Join a bible study. Love God. Study his word. his life. his love...

Standing Your Ground

Matthew 10:26-
Therefore do not fear them. For there is nothing covered that will not be revealed, and hidden that will not be known.

Standing your ground is tough. The devil can be intimidating. He can force sin on you. He can change your mind, and lead you away from God...

And the only way out is to stand your ground. To tell the devil, to tell the sinners- This is me. And I will control me. I choose God.

I feel this song will inspire you on your journey-

Some of you may not know we are warriors... Revolutionaries. We fight the everlasting fight for Christ. We go into battle everyday trying to fight off sin. Sin claims a new victim everyday- and to prevent that being us, we need to stand our ground. Tell sin no... Tell the devil no.

There's only one way to Heaven. Only one way out of Hell. Only one way to be saved. Jesus Christ. So how do you think he feels seeing us sin? He doesn't want us to go to Hell. He wants us to be with him. And that's why I'll tell you today- Be a Warrior For Christ. Forget sin. Forget the devil. Live for Christ- And never look back...

Because we're all warriors...
And that sword will be pounded into Hell with every "No" you tell the devil. That sword will bring you closer, and closer to God. Never let go of that sword.

Psalm 46:1
God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.

Devotions-
Take up your sword. Tell sin no, and fight for the Lord.

Beast

Revelations 12:9
The great dragon was hurled down – that ancient serpent called the devil, or Satan, who leads the whole world astray. He was hurled to the earth, and his angels with him.

Satan. He's the Beast. He's the one who can internally destroy you. God is the one who picks up the pieces...

Not to mention the demons... He uses every ounce of power he has to turn you against God. He has turned angels. He has turned people. He has turned himself. What he doesn't realize is- It's never too late to love God. It's never too late to turn against the one who destroyed you, and turn to the one who created you... Who fixed you.

John 8:44
You are of your father the devil, and your will is to do your father's desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, and has nothing to do with the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks out of his own character, for he is a liar and the father of lies.

It's never too late to be saved...

It's a fact-
Abaddon created hell. He created demons, who were once angels. He created sin. However- He couldn't change your heart. He could change your mind. He can make your mind want sin. But he can't make your heart want sin. God won't let him. All he has is the hope of you sticking to your mind. He can only hope that you want sin forever. That you crave it as he does. But none of it is permanent. He doesn't love you. He's only tricking you.

It's a fact-
God created Heaven. He created Angels. He created you. And- He stays in your heart. He stays in your mind. God is the way, truth, and light of this world. God is the ONLY way to Heaven, no exceptions. God won't make you crave. He won't tempt you. God is fair, and kind to the deserving. God loves you.

-Ephesians 6:11-18
Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places. Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand firm. Stand therefore, having fastened on the belt of truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and, as shoes for your feet, having put on the readiness given by the gospel of peace. In all circumstances take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming darts of the evil one; and take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God, praying at all times in the Spirit, with all prayer and supplication. To that end keep alert with all perseverance, making supplication for all the saints,

Satan is destruction. No questions asked...

Modesty- Something The World Has Lost

1 Timothy 2:9-10
Likewise also that women should adorn themselves in respectable apparel, with modesty and self-control, not with braided hair and gold or pearls or costly attire, but with what is proper for women who profess godliness—with good works.

Modesty- Something the world has lost. When did we lose our self respect? Our love for the Lord?

Warning! The following bible verse may be inappropriate for some ages!

Proverbs 7:10
And behold, the woman meets him, dressed as a prostitute, wily of heart.

The reason I put that verse in here, is to explain what our world has come to. The verse sadly applies to teenagers, many adults, and quite a few children. But why?! They've forgotten of the Lord. They've forgotten how to live by the laws of the bible, and think they exist purely to fit in.

It breaks my heart to see the children on the Lord committing adultery. The reason for most to commit adultery is fitting in. I see so many people feeling like outcasts, and resorting to adultery. So it's best to tell you now- It solves nothing. Adultery usually leads to teen pregnancy, and depression.

1 Corinthians 10:31
So, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.

Because being modest, doesn't mean being hated. It doesn't mean being made fun of. It means being accepted in the world of God, and following the rules of your father.

And if loving the Lord makes me an outcast- I am. If obeying the Lord gets me abused- So be it. For the love of the Lord is greater than any sin can bring me.

Devotions-
Be modest. Forget what the world- What the people are pushing on you, and focus on obeying the laws of Heaven.

Verse- James 1:15
Julie (Stay Strong for God!)

Friends

Proverbs 20:6
Many will say they are loyal friends, but who can find one who is truly reliable?

Anyone can be "Friends". We usually think friends are the ones we hang out with at school. The ones we've always known. The ones who are "There for us". But what really is a friend?

Friends are the ones who support us on our journey to God. Friends are the ones who never forget you. Leave you behind. Or send you straight to the devil. Friends are the ones who never leave your side no matter what.

Proverbs 13:20
Whoever walks with the wise becomes wise, but the companion of fools will suffer harm.

It is said- And is true, that God is the greatest friend. Even when you sin, He loves you. Even when you disobey him, He loves you. And he'll never leave your side- Even through the tough stuff.

You know, some friends push you away from God. You can be in God's arms one moments, making fun of kids the next. Doing drugs, drinking, smoking... Those are ALL things friends can get you to do. The devil over takes them, and uses them to manipulate you. That's why God is the greatest friend. He will never let you go. Never push you to the devil. Never abuse you. Never hate you.

If a friend makes you feel embarrassed about loving God- They are not a friend worth having. A friend worth having, pushes you to the father. And never lets you look back...

Devotions-
Push away the bad friends. Don't disobey God, and stick to a friend that will never benefit -but ruin- your relationship with the father.

Deuteronomy 31:6
Be strong and of good courage, do not fear nor be afraid of them; for the LORD your God, He is the One who goes with you. He will not leave you nor forsake you.

Building A Relationship With God

Lamentations 3: 23-25-
Great is his faithfulness; his loving-kindness begins afresh each day. My soul claims the Lord as my inheritance; therefore I will hope in him. The Lord is wonderfully good to those who wait for him, to those who seek for him.

What is your relationship with God like? Are you even sure you have a relationship with God?

No one on earth knows what it takes to get into Heaven... But I will tell you this-
ANYONE who has faith, Who has a relationship with God, WILL get into Heaven.

Am I 100% Sure? Yes. Jesus states in the bible-
Matthew 7:21-23
“Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. 22 Many will say to me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name and in your name drive out demons and in your name perform many miracles?’ 23 Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!’

He has to KNOW you. YOU have to know him!
If you are really dedicated to get to know God, here are a few helpful tips-

Praying- It's the easiest way to take to God. He, after all knows what you need before you pray.

Reading the bible- Learning God's word is SO important in accepting him into your heart.

After all that is done. LOVE him. Even if you still doubt him. Even if you think you don't have him. Even if you don't believe- Love him.

God is MY truth. My light. And my reason to live. So what is he for you?

Devotions-
Love God. Even when the going gets tough, say "Thank you, Lord!". Because he not only created you, but he loves you. He IS in the tough stuff, and he is right by your side through it all. God did say he would credit the hurt, and not the hurtful.

Resisting Temptations

James 1:12-
"Happy is the man who doesn't give in and do wrong when he is tempted, for afterwards he will get as his reward the crown of life that God has promised those who love him."

Getting sucked into temptation? Feeling like it's the only way to escape?

It's not. Temptation takes the lives of thousands of people daily. AKA- The devil takes the lives of thousands of people daily. Temptation brings nothing but sin, it doesn't heal you, or make you stronger. It kills you.

James 1:13-18
"When tempted, no one should say, "God is tempting me." For God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does he tempt anyone; but each one is tempted when, by his own evil desire, he is dragged away and enticed. Then, after desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, gives birth to death.
Don't be deceived, my dear brothers. Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows. He chose to give us birth through the word of truth, that we might be a kind of first fruits of all he created."

Temptation could be anything. Money, Alcohol, Cigarettes, Lust. Anything you know you should be doing, or thinking about is considered temptation, and in some cases- adultery. God doesn't tempt. He wouldn't dangle something in your face, and tell you not to take it. He wouldn't hurt you, or push you to the devil. God tells in the bible not to be tempted. Not even think about it. Now, in school you will be tempted. With everything. The trick is saying no.

1 Timothy 6:9
But those who crave to be rich fall into temptation and a snare and into many foolish (useless, godless) and hurtful desires that plunge men into ruin and destruction and miserable perishing.

Devotions-
Resist the temptation in your life. Let God be God in you, and just say No.

How Much Jesus Loves You

How much does Jesus love you?

It's a common question spoken among new believers. For me- All I have to remember is the day he died for me. For all of us. He not only carried the cross up the hill, but was nailed to it. His palms were nailed to the cross, and he wore a crown of thorns. He hung there- left to die. Beaten, bloody, bruised, and dying. He did that for us. He did it because he knew we would sin, and he knew he needed to save us. And I truly thank Jesus Christ for that.

But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions—it is by grace you have been saved -(Ephesians 2:4-5).

God loves you more than you think. And if you truly think he doesn't, and you want to be saved- Simply repeat this, and speak to God from your heart-

Dear Lord, I confess that I am a sinner. Please forgive my sins and accept me as your child. I invite you to be my Savior and the Lord of my life. I surrender myself to you in the name of Jesus Christ, my Savior and Lord.

Give thanks to the God of heaven. His love endures forever (Psalm 136:26).

How do you love God? What if you get made fun of?

God loves you. He loves you more than the earth. He loves you just as much as he loves Jesus- even satan. He loves all enemies. He loves all creatures. He loves YOU.

The common fear with children, and some adults is being made fun of. Did Jesus cry when he was beaten with rocks? No. Did he cower when they hung him on the cross? No. And he knows you can endure people calling you names- Just as he did on the cross. You have to endure name calling, if you truly love the Lord. You have to endure not even close to what Christ had to. And the best thing to remember- Christ is right by your side through it all.

I am a Jesus Freak.

John 3:16
For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

Devotions-
Be saved. Look deep into your heart, and let Christ in. Only then can he help you through everything.
Through Christ- We are all saved. In any matter.

How To Save A Life

"The thief’s purpose is to steal and kill and destroy. My purpose is to give them a rich and satisfying life." - John 10:10

Depressed, Alone, Forgotten.
That's all I thought about through my depression. I didn't think about God. I didn't think about happiness. I was set on being depressed.

But that's all changed now. Now I'm ready to help depressed people. I'm faced with a tough situation- There's a guy at school with depression. One month he's singing, and happy- The next month he's wearing all black, and not speaking. He's a victim of the devil.

I'm using the way I felt before, and imagining how he feels. Sin has overwhelmed him, and he doesn't know the way back to life. Now I was saved by Jesus Christ. I went to the Warehouse Xperience, and it changed me. They put God in my heart, and brought me back to Christ. And there's only ONE way to get it back into him- Teaching him God's word.
I know, studying the bible doesn't sound fun. Hearing verses you don't understand doesn't sound fun. But let me ask you this- If your father wrote a book, would you read it? Would you study it?
Because THAT'S what the bible is. It's your father's book.

To save a life, is bringing it back to Christ. It's showing them the way back home, and helping them get there. The devil leads you to Hell, and leaves you behind. He leaves you to try and find God again- But he doesn't expect you to. He wants you to commit suicide. He wants you to never find Christ again. He wants you to make other people depressed too. But helping someone back to Christ is harder than it sounds. I had to do it the hard way- Alone. No one offered to help me on my journey. No one offered to teach me God's word. I had to do it by myself. To save a life is to offer your time, and lead one more soldier to God's army.

Devotions-
Let Christ speak through you. Maybe there's a shy, or depressed kid at your school? Just talk to them. Even if they don't talk back. Give Christ the opportunity to share his word through you.

But even if you should suffer for what is right, you are blessed. "Do not fear what they fear ; do not be frightened."
Take Courage

1 Peter 3:14

One thing to remember- It could be anyone.

The Hope of Heaven

Psalm 19:1-
"The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands."

I know not what the future holds, but I know who holds the future...

We all hope Heaven is real. The believers know there is a Heaven. You see- Jesus Christ wrote a book- The bible. In his book, he states there is a Heaven. A Heaven filled with believers- Modest believers who live fully to love the Lord. They live only to love the Lord.

Hell is filled with non-believers, and devil worshipers. They live fully to destroy our lives, and fill us with sin and rage. They believe God didn't want them in Heaven. That he simply sent them to Hell to rot, so he wouldn't see them in Heaven.

Well that's not true...

God wants ALL of us in Heaven. He wants to know ALL of us, and get close to us. Sending them to Hell doesn't mean he hates them. It means they gave into the devil, and truly didn't believe in God.

Heaven is a wonderful place as described by God. When you die, you pass over to be in God's home, where you belong. It shouldn't be something scary for you to think about- death. It should be joyous. You should be excited to go to Heaven and be with God. But you can't think that by reading the bible, going to church, singing worship songs, being a Christian, or being baptized will get you into Heaven. God never said that. He said you need to have a relationship with him. He said you need to know him in your heart. He even said if you never know him, and expect to go to Heaven, he'll say "I never knew you...". GOD has to know you. God has to have a relationship, an experience, a very clear memory of you- to except you into Heaven. You wouldn't let a stranger in your home, would you?

God is the reason your alive. He's seen every single one of you, and wants YOU in his home- in Heaven. But he can't accept you, until you accept him.

Devotions-
Believe in Heaven. Just know that there is one, and behave like you would- like you should, to be with God.

I'd really like you guys to watch this. Teenagers especially should watch it- as they will be dealing with this later in life. It amazes me every time I watch it. (Best with sound.)

Trusting God

Psalm 27:1“The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?”

That's a great video to go with the verse. Without God, what's the "logical" reason for earth? For us?

Nothing...

Even if you think God isn't logical- He's the answer. Nothing on earth IS logical, so why not believe in God?
Why not believe in the father who gave you life, and loves you more than anything?!

If you still don't believe any of this- Pray.

Psalms 145:18
The LORD is near to all who call on him, to all who call on him in truth.

Read that 3 times, and study it carefully. When praying, Jesus called God "Abba", which means our version of "Daddy". This will make you feel closer to God, and lift your spirit.

Matthew 6:5-12
And when you pray, do not be like the hypocrites, for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the street corners to be seen by men. I tell you the truth, they have received their reward in full. But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you. And when you pray, do not keep on babbling like pagans, for they think they will be heard because of their many words. Do not be like them, for your Father knows what you need before you ask him. "This, then, is how you should pray: "'Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name, your kingdom come, your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us today our daily bread. Forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors.

And talk only to God- not others watching. Remember- You aren't putting on a show, You are speaking directly to your creator, and savior.

You ARE Beautiful

Matthew 6:25
“Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes?"

We all do it. We all judge. Have you ever been walking down a street, and see a girl FAR better dressed than you? Did you feel intimidated? We'd all like to think the answer was no, but deep down you know you felt intimidated. That's just the way the devil wants it.

How about judging yourself? When we look in the mirror, we see EVERYTHING. Every zit, and loose hair. We judge ourselves worse than we judge others. The more the devil makes us think we're 'ugly', the more we try to be 'perfect'. Let's put it this way- The more you make yourself  'perfect', the more you lose God. Every time you put on makeup or hairspray, you are covering up the way God intended you to be.

Devotion-
John 6:40
"My Father's will is that everyone who looks to the Son and believes in him shall have eternal life."

A devotion is like a project to work on for the day. Today- focus on your relationship with God, and forget about being 'perfect'. Maybe pick up an old Bible, and study his word. Trust me, Taking one day for the Lord will change your life forever.

Did Jesus think about what he looked like when he died for you? Of course not.

And neither should you...

Your Special Gift

That song truly moves me. It shows you everything satan is willing to do to you to make you his. He's hiding the truth, and we need to look past all of those things "the other people" are doing, and focus on our relationship with God.

Do you think you suck at everything? You can't draw well? Or sing?

Well the truth is- You have a gift.
God has promised us all a gift. Whether it be drawing, singing, sewing, or sports- We are all great at something. Jesus said we would all do things greater than he has... Can you imagine how hard that would be?! He died for us! But he knew we would all do something great for him in return- Spread his word. By teaching his word, you are showing your appreciation, and saving other's lives. That's why Jesus died for you.

Are you going to do something with that gift God has blessed you with?
Because you should. Even if it's too embarrassing to go out in public and preform your gift. I'll tell you mine- Preaching. I LOVE to preach God's word to others. It fulfills, and saves their lives.

Truly, truly, I say to you, he who
hears My word, and believes Him
who sent Me, has eternal life, and
does not come into judgment, but
has passed out of death into life.
John 5:24

Now that you know about your amazing gift, and all God has blessed you with- Do you choose Life? Because ONLY if you choose life can I help you. ONLY if you choose God can I help you understand what he has done for you. If you choose to sin- if you choose satan, I assure you- nothing I can ever say will effect you. You have to love Jesus with all your heart, and hunger for him the way he is for you. Only then will everything make sense.

God Is In The Tough Stuff

Do you ever feel like no one loves you? Cares about you? Feel like everyone forgot you?

Well none of that is true.

I've been through it all. In fact, I'm still dealing with it. This blog isn't about telling you what I've eaten today, or how I've been feeling. It's about You. Jesus Christ died on the cross to save us from our own sins. Now repeat that sentence 5 times. It all starts to make sense when you think Would I really die for someone I never knew? Of course not! But Jesus DID know us. God showed him us, and told him to die for us.
I picked up a book from the store called "God is in the Tough stuff". It basically goes through every problem you could be dealing with, and tells you that God IS there for you. You just have to believe. You may not like my blog if you don't believe, but I'd at least like you to finish reading this post.

I go to church every Sunday night. Not specifically church, but The Warehouse Experience. They aren't there to force anything down our throats, but to teach us God's word, and let us do something with it.
They helped me understand that God is there when the going gets tough. They helped me understand that I'm God's revolutionary, and I'm here to help defeat the devil, and stay strong for God.

Now what I'd like you to do is clear your mind. Actually believe (Or pretend you do for a minute). Hold your hand out, it can be in the air, or on a table. Sit that way for a minute or so.
Did you feel it? I don't know if it's just me, but I can feel God holding my hand. I don't know if I can explain my love of God to you guys, but I need him as much as I need my next breath. He's everything.

This blog will help you understand that you're never alone. You never have been alone, and you never will be alone. You have nothing to be scared of. God is with you. If you ever wonder why God has let you go through what he has, let me tell you this- God needs a strong army. He needs an army that will help in his battle against drugs, alcohol, abuse, and much more. He needs an army that will help defeat the devils evil things. Every tear you cry, you get stronger. More immune. Now God doesn't like this, but no hero has gone without crying. You are in his army.

God tugged at my heart to post this, so I did. In the rest of this blog, I'll post scriptures, experiences, and testimonies.

My favorite verse of all- Matthew 5:8.
