God Is In The Tough Stuff

Do you ever feel like no one loves you? Cares about you? Feel like everyone forgot you?

Well none of that is true.

I've been through it all. In fact, I'm still dealing with it. This blog isn't about telling you what I've eaten today, or how I've been feeling. It's about You. Jesus Christ died on the cross to save us from our own sins. Now repeat that sentence 5 times. It all starts to make sense when you think Would I really die for someone I never knew? Of course not! But Jesus DID know us. God showed him us, and told him to die for us.
I picked up a book from the store called "God is in the Tough stuff". It basically goes through every problem you could be dealing with, and tells you that God IS there for you. You just have to believe. You may not like my blog if you don't believe, but I'd at least like you to finish reading this post.

I go to church every Sunday night. Not specifically church, but The Warehouse Experience. They aren't there to force anything down our throats, but to teach us God's word, and let us do something with it.
They helped me understand that God is there when the going gets tough. They helped me understand that I'm God's revolutionary, and I'm here to help defeat the devil, and stay strong for God.

Now what I'd like you to do is clear your mind. Actually believe (Or pretend you do for a minute). Hold your hand out, it can be in the air, or on a table. Sit that way for a minute or so.
Did you feel it? I don't know if it's just me, but I can feel God holding my hand. I don't know if I can explain my love of God to you guys, but I need him as much as I need my next breath. He's everything.

This blog will help you understand that you're never alone. You never have been alone, and you never will be alone. You have nothing to be scared of. God is with you. If you ever wonder why God has let you go through what he has, let me tell you this- God needs a strong army. He needs an army that will help in his battle against drugs, alcohol, abuse, and much more. He needs an army that will help defeat the devils evil things. Every tear you cry, you get stronger. More immune. Now God doesn't like this, but no hero has gone without crying. You are in his army.

God tugged at my heart to post this, so I did. In the rest of this blog, I'll post scriptures, experiences, and testimonies.

My favorite verse of all- Matthew 5:8.
Julie (Stay Strong!)
